I hope @theymos, even without commenting, is reading this.
@Fillippone thanks sir. I was obliged to return to this thread when I discovered that even upto the 5th page this thread has not been abandoned. It's almost a norm in the forum that some vital topics would be raised, extensively discussed and finally abandoned. Your compilation of the proposals so far gave me a resounding hope to once again in my own little experience contribute in this thread.

Change is permanent. Dynamism is the key to embracing change and not staticness. I read your comment as you uploaded a social media conversation in agreement with the purpose of this thread. Imo, that user might have in one way or the other suggested things for the goodness of the forum but was not considered.

When I was a newbie(zero experience), I created a topic "An Alternative To Merit". See link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5341366.msg57137455#msg57137455
People discussed extensively on it, but I discovered many established users though in agreement with the post were sure that the suggestions will not be granted. Because such suggestions or even better suggestions were raised in the past but were not considered, they don't see mine as an exception.

What actually am driving at is, the forum needs to be dynamic as if it's still evolving and not as static as it has arrived.  If there are new suggestions like "Alternative To Merit, New Themes, Mobile app, no evil fee" etc,Theymos should try to create a poll on them and afterward implement them temporarily, if it doesn't work well he can revert to the former. There is no harm in trying. By this, the system would be dynamic and upto date.

There is an African adage that says "Better days ahead". But with what I read in the forum, it seems better days are gone and never to resurface. So, it is high time the admins feast on the experience of the noble users of the forum to sustain or resuscitate her legacy.
Thank you!
