Ok I must confess I didn't know that Neymar's list of injuries was so long and severe in Paris. Usually when you watch the games he is on the pitch most of the time, at least it seemed to be the case to me. Anyway, Neymar's salary in Paris is a joke as much as the transfer fee for him was a joke.
I still think that Neymar played the most important games and that is very important, and getting injured is not something a team or a player can foresee beforehand, you just happen to get injured and that's it. Plus Neymar was seen as "the" player after Messi/Ronaldo period, when you get the best player in the world then you pay both his club and himself a lot of money.
36 million is not really that high if you ask me considering Messi still gets 50 million at his age, Messi currently is not better player than Neymar THAT much, you can argue if he is still better or not, but if you give Neymar than do you agree that Messi is twice as better? I do not think so. Neymar is a world star and just his name still sells jerseys so I believe that paying him a lot of money makes sense. Same goes with Mbappe, one day that dude will earn 50 million a year as well.
