Bitcoin is the root of everything related to crypto/Blockchain tech. It paved the way for other projects to gain traction in the mainstream world. The same can be said about Ethereum in the area of smart contracts and "De-Fi". With how successful the world's second-largest cryptocurrency became, it looks like it'll last a lifetime. The community is alive and vibrant as ever with new projects joining the ETH ecosystem. Without the original smart contract platform, Binance Chain and other alternatives wouldn't had existed today.
It's a good thing the Ethereum project has a talented person like Vitalik Buterin. His high-level IQ will lead the project towards non-stop success. As long as he's alive, Ethereum will only grow bigger in price and mainstream adoption. Just my thoughts
