this is indeed a new DeFi platform. but the project I don't think will disappoint. now SOV is cheap, buy and bet I'm sure it will be profitable.
How much have you staked SOV and earn after a week?
I have some of these during its ATH at $80 when it started dipping to $65 I sold it. I'm glad I did since I bought it for $40 too. I still profited though I only bought a few of them. I can afford to buy at least a hundred. If they just don't give penalties to the early unstakers of the SOV, I likely would have staked.
You can try Ethereum 2.0. staking.
To become a validator you can:
1 Launch your own node by staking 32 ETH;
2 Via non-custodial validators (p2p.org);
3 Via custodial services (crypto exchanges);
4 decentralised pools.
Lido creates an on-chain asset, stETH (staked ETH), which is issued in exchange for ETH sent for staking on Eth2. stETH can be bought, sold and used as collateral in DeFi protocols, increasing capital efficiency and the ability to generate increased income. So your Ethereum will not be locked this way.
32ETH is too much of an investment for me now and there is a rumor that ETH2 will never actually be launched.
