I am not thinking this should be one of the reasons for plagiarism. Before you can even know much about plagiarism, you might likely have been in tartiary institution, to every copied content, there must be reference. In academic, plagiarism is strictly forbidden while it is also best to reference your work to avoid self-plagiarism.

But due to exposure, like some members on this forum, or on other forums, they would have known about plagiarism even before getting to tertiary institution, while even copying another person's work which is wrong during examination is passing a message across that plagiarism will be forbidden. But, no matter what, there are a lot of students that have no other job than to be copying from their friends, that is not geographical differences, but human nature.

Irrespective of the countries we are, people are not the same, we are brilliant and intelligent than one another. Did you know some people on this forum are just teenagers, while some will like to plagiarize thinking nothing will happen. I see people to plagiarize as a result of humans not being the same and brilliant than one another. Some people's gift is to just be on forum like Bitcointalk while some is just not, while some will start to learn when banned.
