Too bad in my country bitcoin only can be used as an assets and not for payment. Maybe if can be payment, there are a lot of companies which made by some cryptocoiners can pay they employee with crypto. If me i really support if can be paid in crypto especially bitcoin, means people who know and who don't know if there are general companies can adopt it. About sell or not it is all depends on each employees.
Many countries may not legalize the regulation of paying salary with bitcoin due to restrictions on using crypto only as an investment, even if you don't receive salary in bitcoin but if your intention is to invest part of your salary in bitcoin then you will definitely buy bitcoin every month.
