Continuing to think of strategies even when sleeping can put you in the category of mild gambling addiction.
I think if you have reached the stage of thinking about gambling strategies while sleeping then you are already categorized as a moderate to heavy gambling addict. Mild addiction will only make you want to gamble when you see your friend gambling or something is affecting you and won't make you think about gambling when you want to sleep.

I love to gamble but I wouldn't spend more than 20% of my income on it. Gambling is indeed profitable, detrimental and also fun but if we do not have good control then everything will end in a sad way. Gambling is not just about winning or losing, but this will be far more fatal when they are not able to control their desire and money in gambling. There is no need to stop gambling if they are still capable enough to control and make themselves responsible gamblers. Just limit your money and desire to gamble and it will be fine.

Wow. 20% is a huge part of the income in my opinion. I think you really love gambling if you are willing to spend that portion. And to be honest (maybe I’m from a poor country and don’t understand something  Grin ) I cannot imagine the structure of expenses where gambling would take 20%. There should probably always be more important spending than this entertainment.
Less or more 20% on your monthly income wouldnt matter as long you do able to sustain yourself and since people does have different situation in terms of income and spending or lifestyle depending on where
you do lived.

20% is indeed a big portion into your monthly income which it should be less if you do really mind on prioritizing over things than with gambling.

Addiction is only happening when you are spending way more than in your limit. It wouldnt matter what percentage as long you do have the limit.
