I think the most optimistic outcome for Bitcoin would be to return to its roots, which is to play to the nature of bitcoin as a currency, as the opposite of global fiat currencies, coexisting with global fiat currencies and ready to replace the declining credit of fiat currencies, such as overissued US dollars.
We will never know what the future of bitcoin and fiat currencies will look like if they will coexist and be recognized by all governments, although bitcoin has the potential to achieve all of that, but this is certainly taking too long.
So I think the most optimistic thing that bitcoin has achieved at the moment is that Bitcoin has set an amazing record throughout the year because it has hit a new ATH, it's a great start to 2021 for bitcoin.
