Ever since Vitalik created Ethereum, the project has been on a road towards non-stop success. It's been around 6 years already with ETH being the world's second-largest cryptocurrency by market cap. Vitalik's skills and great mindset will keep the project afloat for a very long time. But sometimes I wonder what will happen with Ethereum without Vitalik in play? The community could keep the project alive, but without a genius mind like Vitalik Buterin, ETH will be one step behind its rivals. At least, that's the way I see it. But I could be wrong.

I do not think every great milestone that ETH achieved was only done by vitalik. He is the creator and has a great role for eth community but it's an open platform so any developer can join this system and be part of the developments process. Eth will do good until its finds a strong rival in the crypto space. It is not only because of vitalik but also the superiority of ETH itself that kept its ground solid.
