i dont mind working on the XJ Cherokee, its kinda soothing in its simplicity. real switches, real transfer case, real everything. well there is a computer but its pretty limited.
I really miss my 1990 Vanden Plas, they don't make them like they used too.
I've looked a few times for one but one in good condition is rarer than hens teeth, only car I ever had stolen.
thats the xj make i thought you were referring too.
yeah thats why i clarified with "cherokee" later - all (most?) jeeps have 2 letter codes, XJ is the Cherokee (not the Grand Cherokee thats a different model).
always did want a XJ Jag just because looking over that mile long hood with a V12 under it.. well hell yeah.
but im a 4x4 guy at heart.
