If you feel comfortable with your online job now and feel confident that you can make money from your job, you do not have to search for alternative jobs offline instead, search for the other jobs available online.

But if you have a job offline, you can spread your job or search for online jobs to have alternative jobs that can produce money for you. At least, that is what my friends did when they lost their job in the offline job. They are trying to promote some product on their social media or create a website and selling that product by online.
