a true decentral blockchain is owned by its participants if it survive the test of time is based if there still people run nodes

so if DMDv3 will continue in some form deepens on its participants

i can speak for my position in this regards only

and it is that for DMD is a technology agnostic idea and it can envolve

so for me DMDv4 is DMD after its release for me

DMDv3 is a empty hull that did give birth to DMDv4 without a further purpose

again thats my opinion

as DMDv3 is owned by its participants its on them to decide if they keep runing nodes keep improve the software

DMDv3 wallet have issues it need development invested we didnt invest into DMDv3 time and energy because for us DMDv4 is the new evolotion of DMD

like the snake that grow dont care for the old skin that did become to small and it leave it behind

i will leave the old skin behind

the snake itself is alive and in best shape

the project scope of DMDv4 did grow bigger
the work needed become more
the testing and stabilisation a hugh timesink

so i dont aim for a month or even a year

as long as there is no public beta testnet launched u know we still more then 3-6 months away of release
only a public beta testnet is launched u can hope for a mainnet release in a 3-6 month timeframe

so a late 2021 early 2022 could be possible if we able reach opentestnet state very soon
but IF we reach that stage that fast progress of alphatesting network will show
