Does BTC act like gold in the fiat market? 
I don’t understand why this currency is still mainly on the cryptomarket. If we take the top 2 ETH, then this token has a huge technological potential with its ICO, NFT, DEFI also has multiple cross-chains that expand the ETH ecosystem.
What keeps BTC so high? If we speak openly, then BTC has no role in itself, it's just a dummy compared to other technologies on the other crypto

You are letting yourself to be impressed over nothing, ethereum has allowed all of those things to exist, are we better because of them? Bitcoin is robust, you may think that being a currency is not very exciting but it is not supposed to be, bitcoin is supposed to become the cornerstone of this market and when an economic crisis comes there is nothing more valuable than something that can become a store of value, also even if ethereum is widely being used to speculate, who is actually buying anything with ethereum? Almost all of the transactions that include a real exchange of value use bitcoin and nothing else which gives bitcoin its massive value compared to any other coin that we have in the market.
