Due to different regulations bitcoin probably won't remain like that. People who rule the world don't want to change their minds, instead they want to change bitcoin in a way it can fit the system without damaging their own power and influence. Bitcoin could lead human civilization to a higher level if people were awake and willing for that. However, the reality is that humanity is composed by a bunch of sheep which blindy follow the rulers' orders. The few who really want freedom, transparency, fair opportunities are suffocated by the sheep's bleat just like it happened in Orwell's Animal Farm masterpiece.

But in my opinion, the greatest value Bitcoin brings to mankind is to liberate humanity’s mind and no longer be influenced by inherent concepts Bondage. Before the birth of Bitcoin, most people could only obey the decision of the ruler and did not know how to resist. But when Bitcoin is born, more and more group ideologies will be awakened. They will pursue true equality and freedom. This is what I have always said about Bitcoin thinking and Bitcoin consensus. As the Bitcoin consensus continues to expand around the world, voices pursuing freedom, transparency, and equality will far outweigh conservative voices.
