Assets with good liquidity are usually used for speculation. It should be easy to buy and sell an asset to use it for speculation.

Unfortunately, cryptocurrencies are often used for speculation, especially altcoins with low liquidity. It is very easy to manipulate the price of an altcoin if it has low liquidity.
