I am being accused of not being active, as if, it is my duty to actively post across the board and earn merit to give it to
Bangladesh thread.
That wasn't an accusation; it was just a statement of fact and was backed up with data. I wouldn't take that personally. If you're active in the Bangladesh section, you're active there; if you're not, you're not. You don't have a responsibility to make posts there, especially with your English being as good as it is.
This in no way means that I expect Merit back, when I am giving it away. But, if someone accuses me for dearth of Merit at
Bangladesh thread, then he/she is also responsible for the supply of Merit to me.
I don't have the patience to re-read everything in this thread, but I don't recall anyone accusing you of being the root cause of the low number of merits being circulated in your local board. You're not even a merit source, so there's no way you
could be responsible for that. Surely other members in the Bangladesh board have sMerits to hand out, and they share the same "responsibility" to give them out rather than hoard them. I put quotations there because there really isn't a responsibility on anyone's part unless they're a merit source, but there isn't one (yet) in your local board.
Also, nobody should be giving you merits in order to replenish your supply of sMerits--for a number of reasons. For one, people can merit good posts in the Bangladesh section themselves without involving you. For another, you're not a "community-made" merit source who depends on his sMerit supply coming from other members instead of a real merit source who'd get them from Theymos. What you wrote is just a bizarre statement IMO, and I doubt it's a misunderstanding due to language.
