ethereum's main problem is in the network fees which sometimes go up. so I think if it can be controlled and decreased it would be great. for example the price of ethereum goes up, network costs are low. it will make users able to enjoy ethereum and people will not easily get frustrated. I hope EIP-1559 provides benefits for ethereum users and the ethereum market conditions get better
Don't be too fascinated with the fees, there's always a positive outcome after this upgrade of ethereum. Hopefully the issues about fees will be brought up after further improvements will work out effectively. On this details, I guess they made this actions due to concerns like this which I believed needs to be fixed and soon provides us better transactions on erc20 network.
The competitions also impacts this and for sure the team is fully aware, but with this updates, we see good increase fot ETH
and it can push for more.
It takes time but what we see from the market, still the trust level is far high and ETH network still busy even fees are high
