So many times various smartcontract platforms like TRON, EOS, LISK and many more already announced they could replace ethereum but the fact was showing the different result. They have not yet able to be the same like ethereum. The big community that backs ethereum has become the main reason why the new platform will impossible to compete with ether.
These platform can co exist together. it will better to give various options to the users. there's no need to compete one with each other
