It's seems ixcoin is gonna make it on Mintpal within a few days. It has a daily volume of 1k btc, not bad for a new exchange.
My guess: someone paid at least 2-3 real btc to get all that votes. I wonder what volume of ixc trade we can expect.

Completely bogus. Nobody is going to pay that kind of money to get listed in a minor exchange.
