In the first game of the week, I think Tottenham vs manchester city is enough interesting to watch, which with the top club in the premier league, the high odds still Tottenham even plays at home, maybe because manchester city is still the favorite to win.
I do think that PSG being dominant is a reason, think about it, you do not get to play just on PSG games, you get to bet on games with no PSG in it, BUT just because PSG got Messi (and bunch of other awesome players) that means that ligue 1 will be watched more this year, there will be an extra viewership number for the ligue just because PSG became sooo good.
This reflects on other teams as well, when the viewership of the league increases, the bet amount increases, the other teams get better sponsorships just because of their games against PSG and overall increase, all of this really helps the lower level teams as well. This is why betting on ligue 1 will be a bit due to PSG getting Messi, not just about that of course, but to say that it has nothing to do with it would be wrong as well, it will have a small impact for sure, maybe even a big one.
