About as off topic as it gets but just thought i'd share for anyone e thats interested.
I switched all my bulbs over to LED, replaced my old 60 inch backlite TV and replaced my hot water heater with a heat pump heater and this year my electric is less than half what it was last year!
If anyone is thinking of doing this I highly recommend it.
You know your old when you love your hot water heater.

yeah i have a hybrid hot water heater set to heat pump only mode.. dehumidifies and cools my unfinished basement when it fires up. my dehumidifier in the basement works less, so free(ish) hot water as the dehumidifier comes on less. gotta dehumidify the basement anyway so win/win.
