It is people who usually portray Bitcoin as a 'get rich quick network' that think in this direction, cause they are not concerned about the advantage of 'being your own bank', neither are they elated that you have the freedom to control your funds the way you choose to in the network, you seem to only be concerned about how much they prolly would have made if they had invested a long time ago, mind you that knowledge of the Bitcoin network is as well important and necessary even if you're going to make or keep any ROI, quite a lot of people have lost both their funds and their returns as a result of lack of knowledge and desire to make fast money out of the network.
