Bad news for tennis fans:
''Fans will not be allowed to attend the US Open qualifying rounds to "ensure the health and safety of all".
The main tournament will have capacity crowds when it starts on 30 August.''Source:
https://www.bbc.com/sport/tennis/58197770I hope that the current decisions will not change after all and that fans in limited numbers will still be able to participate in the main tournament of the US Open.
It's a tough decision but it's for the safety of all players, officials and spectators, hope can be change when the main event start. When I read the news, it's seems only for the qualifying because the there will be a lot of players and also their team's.
Are we slowly watching the definitive departure of the ''big three''?
It looks like less than five years from now we won't see the big 3, first Federer, Nadal and lastly Djokovic.
For Federer it looks like he is waiting for a beautiful moment to announce his retirement maybe when he can lift the trophy it's his moment
For the ATP Toronto final Medvedev vs Opelka over 23 it seems safe enough to get a win
That's very sad to hear. Health is still in full swing. We might have already seen it coming, if you look at the Olympic Games, where large parts of it were also not attended by an audience. And we're also talking about New York, a metropolis. That will undoubtedly have played a major role in this decision.
