In a physical casino it is a different story, there is also a lot of booze involved, especially alcohol. Then it is no longer so easy to gamble and make decisions with your full mind. Your mind is full, but with alcohol. Then see again using your wits with gambling 
That is why they serve alcohol they are trying to give you poor judgement so you will spend more money in their casino. It is unethical but it is standard.
