“Greening” of Bitcoin

While Elon Musk undermines the credibility of bitcoin with his statement about dirty mining, BTC does not give up and is going to eliminate this flaw.

Today, the blockchain impresses with its scale and power, but many investors who support environmental issues are hesitant  to become owners of digital assets.

There is a certain standard, ESG: “environmental” – ecology, “social” – social development, “governance” – corporate governance.

This is an abbreviation that stands for a set of characteristics of the company's management, in which it works on solving environmental, social and managerial problems.

If we analyze bitcoin by this criterion, it copes perfectly with “S” and “G”, but temporarily does not correspond to “E”.

In this regard, BTC begins an active struggle for the ecological purity of the asset and perhaps soon we will expect not just BTC, but EBTC.

The letter “E” will be an indicator of environmental friendliness and will contribute to the influx of a new wave of investors.
