Holding is better than trading. If you buy Bitcoin, and hold it from 2017 to 2020 or 2020, you get profit.
If you buy Bitcoin in 2017 and trade it in 3 to 4 years to 2020 or 2021, I am not sure you will have profit now. If you use margin trading, I believe your orders would be liquidated many times in 3 or 4 years.
It's easy to say that since you already see what happened. You can't just say to others, hold for years.
I even doubt you will do it. You won't know what will happen within 3 years.

Holding and trading, both are good. The result will be based on how good you are doing it.
+1. There are a lot of differences between holding and trading.
Trading is extremely risk compare to just holding. Trading takes a lot of time and effort.
There are a lot of traders that are not hodlers, like months - years holding a coin, they are traders and they are into profits even small or huge, it is huge for you if you have a trader mindset, profit is profit.
