It depends on what type of trader you are, Holding is bad if you are an aggresive trader but good for casual trader that aims for long like investing in Bitcoin. There is a risk to cut-loss or take profit early then enter late which result to less profit and more hassle compared when you just hold it.
I do not think that holding is bad for anyone. It will be suitable for both aggressive and casual traders and if there are traders in between these categories, for them also holding will be profitable and highly recommended. Holding bitcoin is something we can do without any trading skills and without any preparations. All you need is good capital and patience. So, if you consider that holding is also a kind of trading then you never need any kind of supporting factors for profit making.
