Please, what are the basic steps I will take, what are the basic skills I need now that are not that financial intensive.
It's never too early or late to develop yourself and learn new skills. If you wish to contribute to the forum beyond replying and making threads, you could start from being an active reporter and scam buster, this doesn't require lots of technicalities and it is a very useful contribution.
Beyond these, you'll need to acquire some skill that will enable you carve out a niche for yourself as some of those other members have done.
