Damn, that's a lot of merits being given to Newbies.  Somehow I think my standards for meriting newcomers are higher than for other ranks (and I guess that's backed up by my merit-giving history).  Or maybe I'm just not seeing the good posts being made by them in sections I have ignored. 

But hey, I made it to #20 this month, which is an improvement.  Once again I could have sworn I merited more Newbies than that, but I trust your data, Coin-1.  I'm going to try to get better, though I think this month will probably be a lousy one as far as this particular metric is concerned, as I'm not off to a good start.
