Surely this means you are rather lucky - you have found more blocks than the average person would. But the pool averages it out.

Erm, I don't understand your point here. Hacim is saying that he's found 8 blocks, which without the pool would have gained him 400 BTC, while because he did it for the pool he only has 328 BTC to show for it, which is a net loss. The "more blocks than the average person would" is based on hashrate, which Hacim did not mention.
