5G is very short wave but Elon wouldn’t launch 42,000 satellites just for a tv
Channel or internet. It’s for crypto. Secondary coverage if fiberoptics or OG systems fail or have dead spots, which they do.
Commodities are the new currencies. 'Crypto' that doesn't produce a commodity like ai, or other useful data, using human input, is not going far. Starlink may be useful for that but satellites for the bandwidth that would be needed for global taskwork coins will probably be cost ineffective and maybe give everybody Havana syndrome, even if they were a good idea.
If you look at how the China/U.S. trade negotiations ended, and at how tribal entities like the Taliban are slowly gaining political territory and land, people are nowhere even close to a secure satellite space where anybody can launch and use satellites for uses which would be 'strategic' i.e., which would give one country an edge over another.
The solution is building from the ground up, local internets which are reliable and stable, then less secure hubs through things like satellites.

There are two competing trends which are a thing to worry about. One, all of this high tech stuff is getting more and more vulnerable to basic science. In a few years a college kid can take out a satellite that offends him or her. Two, government, or bureaucratic, fear of that trend leads to a tendency to restrict freedoms in order to protect 'strategic' science projects.
Not sure about that, look the amount of data being streamed from sat tv. And that 20 year tech. And like I said maybe the sats are for redundant coverage so maybe 10-20% of total txs volume.

Took me while to catch to the global warming lie. It’s all for temp increase by sats and 5G repeaters. Meat tax, breathing tax, etc, Prison planet, indeed. All to implant a monkey chip in you so you can use crypto when 4G can easily handle it.
