There is still nothing worse than close source softwares and apps, Trustwallet is completely a close source wallet, you do not even know if it has spyware or not, I will rather use an app that is completely open source for Bitcoin. Why not then try hardware wallet if you have hundred of dollars worth of altcoins.

Also just as Trustwallet, Coinomi is also a close source wallet. Although, there could be no option for altcoins, but I will suggest you to use open source wallet for Bitcoin as there are many of them. Hardware wallet would be safe because it supports Bitcoin and many altcoins.
