Covid 19 made the price of bitcoin skyrocket.  This is because people withdraw their money in banks to buy bitcoins.  thus making the price of bitcoin skyrocket.  An increasingly unstable economy makes people look for investments that have big returns.  That is bitcoin and other coins.
