Well I had full intentions of modding mine tonight until I opened it up and saw the size of the resistors. For reference I put a grain of rice by the resistors. It's 7 resistors long. I am going to have to look into a different tip on the soldering iron and maybe a jig or something.

I'm going to wait to find out if either of the moder's mods goes pop pop fizz fizz...and if they do, it ain't gonna be no relief!
But it won't be a chunk of cash bitten out of my ass either!
I'm pretty sure the mods are safe but the most important thing about this mod is higher stable hash rates!
I'm gonna give it a couple weeks before I dive in and mod my own pods.
