And they just bought David Alaba which is basically not in the position of centre back. We can see the impacts now, Real Madrid defence line is rather weak. Even Levante can score 3 times and almost defeat Real Madrid yesterday.

Why are you confident that Real Madrid performance will be better in the next few weeks? I don't see any reasons that it can be true. Although it really happens, Real Madrid position on the table may be out of the top 5 already and it is difficult to compete for the La Liga trophy.
the 2020/21 season was madrid's worst season because they didn't win a single title at that time and obviously the cause was poor performance, I think madrid this season will not be too different from madrid last season, because there really hasn't been much change in their squad this season apart from Losing Varane and Ramos, Madrid have only brought in Alaba and it is clear that Alaba's arrival cannot close the vital position that Varane and Ramos have left at this time, and I agree that Real Madrid this season will not be able to compete with clubs like Atletico, Barcelona and maybe even clubs that have a level below them like sevilla and also valencia.
