According to https://ycharts.com/indicators/bitcoin_average_cost_per_transaction, for bitcoin, the avg cost per transaction was 231.90 USD yesterday (inflation + commissions), which is a lot higher than the avg cost for a CC transaction.

One little problem with stats like that - zero information as to what their average value of the transactionis. It sure as hell is not just a few dollars like the average cc Tx nor even just a few thousand. Fees like that require average Tx values in the 100's of k$.In short - when the basis of data is not given it is a useless statistic.
