I'm willing to wait for 3 or more years to see those prices for Ethereum. The current price is high but I'm all set with another price and aim higher.
It isn't greed that's in me and I understand that I'm already in profit but I'm willing to go more and wait some more time to see what's with Ethereum and how high it can bring itself for the next years.
Even i do not mind waiting for the next few years to see the price of Ethereum cross over $5000, it all depends upon how the recent upgrade and the sensitive changes in the algorithm will solve any existing issues including higher transaction charges and it all depends upon the hype the shift of POS has garnered even though i felt like a move to attract the environmentalist and not necessarily having solutions to sort the issue in POW.
$5k level is actually achievable for eth in short period of time. I don't think we will wait for another 3 years or so just to see this price level. If we will see the impact of this London hard fork and finally see cheaper fees in eth network, maybe, we will see the price of eth rising at a very good rate. I am also optimistic like you that the target price of $5k can be achieved in the near future, there is no need to wait until the next few years.
Since Ethereum is currently above $3k price, which if the current bullish trend could continue until the end of the year, It is very likely that Ethereum
will go up to $5k by the end of this year. Moreover, the london hard fork effect did help trigger the price of Ethereum to rise, then related to
Ethereum gas fees have decreased significantly compared to a few months ago. This means that Ethereum will slowly regain investors trust,
and this is a good thing that can trigger the price of Ethereum to rise even higher.
