I think it's possible: BBCode is used on many different sites, and many people have skills they learned before Bitcoin(talk) even existed.I'd say it's much more suspicious (for being someone's alt) that he's so interested in Merit and plagiarism, just 2 days after registering.

Well, I tried to give him a chance to correct his plagiarism. Too bad it wasn't enough to change his ways.I'm still not convinced he's part of a large alt gang, but who knows, maybe I'm just getting soft and too hopeful.
