I think people rarely overcome any of these attributes, it's actually often the opposite. The more you win - the bigger is the desire to play and win more, and if you lose - it often makes one chase losses and also want to play more. But that's what makes it interesting, there wouldn't be any fun without the emotional aspect involved now, would there?
