I think this is called tetris syndrome. It happens when you devote so much time to a game or an activity which in this case is bitcoin, that you started seeing patterns and things that are related to the activity even after staying away from it from a substantial amount of time. This is completely normal but should be an indicator that you take some rest as well since it takes a huge amount of time for this to manifest to an individual. So drink some water, don't think too much about your investments, and engage in an activity that does not relate to bitcoin or investment for that matter. You should be good by then.
Theoretically, a person can get addicted to anything, from objects and people, to activities of any kind, like games, or shopping or even talking on the phone.
But what I can say for sure is that seeing Bitcoin logo with your eyes closed is totally not normal. I mean, I also see things that I’m into when I dedicate too much time to it, it’s how brain works. But if it’s on a regular basis, you should probably do something about it. Either take a break, or maybe even see a doctor.
It's like a disease that really needs advice from a psychiatrist because if this continues, I'm worried about the mindset of people who are affected by this. because this is no longer a fatal dependence and indeed this is not uncommon, so we need the role of a psychologist or psychiatrist to fix this, at least with that we minimize unwanted things so that things like this don't become extraordinary addictions.
Well you could be right, but then again the only one who can really see what's wrong with him is OP himself. If you think you need medical assistance, then don't delay it and seek professional help as soon as possible, otherwise your situation may worsen. But AFAIK his situation is a bit normal and would be solved by a bit of rest and distraction. Still, my statement stands where if he thinks he needs medical assistance, he should seek one.
