82°C isn't safe to say the truth, work on the thermal paste and thermal pad atleast to run the cards at lower temp, or run on hiveOS and downclock to use low power which will reduce the GPU temp effectively
I know,but that card is removed from a working environment which had a lot of dust in them.I have power limit it to 70% with the built in Linux command :
sudo nvidia-smi -pl 70I got it for free as I said from a workstation which needed an upgrade so as long as it lasts I am happy and cannot leave it out in the air (has to stay inside the case) because I have a small kid just above 1.5 years.
Thing is on 1050ti it will start to throttle at 83c and shut down at 90c.
I would redo paste chances are it is dry and crusty and doing little to nothing for the card.
A quick repaste will likely drop it back into 70s or lower.
