Will Bitcoin move to proof of Stake?
Bitcoin itself? Most likely no.
Bitcoin fork? Maybe yes.
What are the developers opinions on this matter?
Obviously they prefer PoW.
If anyone or the team can modify the protocols, it leaves doubt to investors that its not decentralize.
Anyone could modify protocol of a cryptocurrency, but it's pointless if no one follow his modification.
