i thought so too... and i'm sure they will start asking nonsensical questions and ask you to provide a license paper from the government.. it can get messy and ugly that's for sure...

that's correct and make sure you declare the item as computer parts to let it pass the customs.  The moment you put words like "cryptographic computer" and "bitcoin" then expect looong delay as they will refer to the items to another department for inspection.. eventually it may get marked as unapproved and you may not even get it...

is there any tax for import bitcoin miner/pc stuff to sg?

questions:
1) how much is the miner/combined hardware value?
2) consumer or commercial purposes?
 
essentially, they are hardwares. iirc, all goods valued above USD400 are taxable.

IIRC, cryptography goods are on the black list.
