Yes, it's official now: Ben Simmons has asked for a trade to the Philadelphia 76ers, and he'll be wearing a different jersey next season! According to The Philadelphia Inquirer, the Australian player had a conversation with Doc Rivers and Daryl Morey: Simmons told his head coach and the president that he wants to be traded and that he'll no longer play with the Sixers. He also made it known that he will not be part of training camp.
Let the deals flow.
A win-win for both Simmons and the 76ers.
76ers doesn't need a player who can't shoot. 76ers don't need a unreliable player like him. He might be an all-star and he might be good in defending but when you don't know how to shoot the ball... I just hope that Simmons' next team will be the one who can change him especially in his shooting.
For Simmons, putting him into another team might be an another chapter of his career and he might change there. The only problem right now is that 76ers is demanding too much when they want to trade him but with this, his value might decrease.. or not. Nevertheless, Simmons in another team might be beneficial for him and his career as well. I'm waiting for a long time into where will Simmons land
