What we have seen in crypto market throughout the years, you can never go wrong with bitcoin. But when it comes to alts, you need to be very careful as most of them are just only promising at the beginning and they will slowly decline in time. So better look for projects that have actual use case and people really use it not just for selected few.

With the choice of alts, you need to look for the better alts instead of those that has been taking the attention of everyone. When you've just come in with that altcoin when it's already up, you're likely to be late with the party already or it's done by the time you come in.

We don't know that but last year, it's the start of bull market and hopefully that it's still the continuation of it and another round of the bulls. So hoping that this year, it will still be the same cycle.
