You just gave me an idea. We could start a "Bitcoin School" where we could teach newbies about bitcoin, mining, blockchain and so on. A lot of people aren't getting far with DYOR (in fact it steers them towards shitcoins and scams where they lose their interest for crypto all together). People need mentors. This would also promote Bitcoin adoption.

What do you guys think? Would anyone be willing to start something like that with me?

Which platform do you eventually think of?
Daily lessons via twitter?
I'd suggest some platform that already attracted a lot of newbies and is highly active (facebook would be the lowest mark on this scale).

We could start off with social media but at some point get our own platform. We could also introduce some kind of buddy system and mentor system that rewards and incentivizes mentorships. Maybe a fee system?

The own platform would only make sense with video tutorials and live coaching?.
(i'm out)

A minimal approach could be a channel named like "bitcoin school" on Twitter. I read they are currently working on implementing BTC tips via lightning.
Expect KYC, though, but it would be similar to paypal-level, so kinda weak then, i assume.

No, the whole point is to keep it decentralised and anonymous. No videos. No KYC. I imagine something more like a guided process tailored towards each individuals needs and knowledge levels. Currently learning about Bitcoin is more of a try-and-see approach.

Or even more a hearsay and look approach. Which undoubtedly drives some of these people into CSW's or Bitcoin Judas' arms.
Advertising has probably to be targeted to take hold mainly on social media. It's still huge.

Im sure we could find ways other than KYC to verify experts.
