You just gave me an idea. We could start a "Bitcoin School" where we could teach newbies about bitcoin, mining, blockchain and so on. A lot of people aren't getting far with DYOR (in fact it steers them towards shitcoins and scams where they lose their interest for crypto all together). People need mentors. This would also promote Bitcoin adoption.
What do you guys think? Would anyone be willing to start something like that with me?

I'd suggest some platform that already attracted a lot of newbies and is highly active (facebook would be the lowest mark on this scale).
Theymos considered giving courses a while ago.
I suggested using moodle, the same free software that Cambridge University uses.
It's been over three years since he started that thread. It's still active.
