It’s now official. LaMarcus Aldridge has signed a 1-year deal with the Nets for 2.6 million dollars. Looks like he’s ready to make one more run at the title. I also hear that the Nets are sending DeAndre Jordan to the Pistons, where he’s likely to be bought out and sign with the Lakers for his last attempt at securing a title.

If one of those two teams doesn’t win it all this year, there’s going to be a lot of angry veterans.

Ok, so at least the Nets make one room for him, after all he was really a Nets prior to his early retirement because of heart injury.

So Lakers still re-building, is Marc Gasol out already? I can't remember, but yeah, in any case if DeAndre joins the LA then him and Howard  would be solid. Two veterans as 1-2 for the team.

Shams is reporting that DeAndre is signing a 2.6 million dollar deal with the Lakers as soon as he clears waivers. That pretty much sets the Lakers lineup. I also believe they’ll need Gasol to be officially off the roster at that point, so we can expect to hear news on that soon. As far as I was aware, Gasol was as good as gone last week.
It seems that we can expect an epic final series next season, considering that the starting lineups of the Lakers and Nets look crazy on paper. Smiley Regarding Marc Gasol, he still has a contract with the Lakers until the end of next season. However, I agree with you that Gasol can leave the team shortly.
