Well, it depends on what you believe of the future of Solana. If you think that it has a great future than you can invest into it and make some money with it, if you believe the future of it is bleak than you should not invest into it.

The current price rarely ever means anything, because at the end of the day we are talking about long term investing for most of these things (altcoins) and if you think that it will make money in the future than going into it makes sense and if you keep on waiting for it to drop if it is a good currency then it will go up and you will be too late. However if you think that the future of it doesn't look too good then you should not purchase any because in the end you may end up losing.
