On my conservative side, I would consider both 50/50.  Although gold is less volatile and difficult to generate large gains than bitcoin, it is already a must-have asset criterion for human well-being.  Bitcoin represents the future, gold is the present, fiat is the past.  So I would choose both gold and bitcoin.
